Builds and operates a private weather radar network and runs AI plus numerical weather models on top of it, selling forecasts to utilities and energy traders.
Climavision closes the gap in US radar and upper-air observations by deploying its own X-band radar sites — sold as Radar as a Service — and feeding them, along with 1.5 billion daily datasets, into proprietary AI and NWP forecast models. Energy products cover renewable generation forecasts, load forecasting, hurricane and severe-weather tracking, and grid management support; named users include BGE, CenterPoint Energy and Enverus. The company was launched with a $100M strategic investment from The Rise Fund, TPG's impact platform, and is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
