Charge's Sunrise system assembles tracker torque tubes and modules at the edge of the field and places completed rows, targeting the field-labour bottleneck that now limits how fast solar can be built rather than module cost. The prototype was developed with EPC partner SOLV Energy and moved to commercial deployments after a $22M raise. Founded by MIT alumni Banks Hunter and Max Justicz; roughly $39M raised to date.
