The system is approved as an alternative test method or continuous monitoring solution under EPA OOOO rules and by regulators in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and California, which is what lets operators substitute it for routine OGI survey work, and customers have folded LongPath data into their OGMP 2.0 reporting. It has drawn the first disbursement on a $162 million US Department of Energy loan to expand its continuous monitoring network across major producing regions.
