CPower aggregates roughly 6 GW of commercial, industrial and institutional load, storage and onsite generation into a national VPP, serving more than 2,000 customers across about 60 grid programs in ISO/RTO and utility territories. Customer segments span data centers, crypto mining, healthcare, education, retail chains and industrial plants; the company says it has returned over $1 billion in grid revenue to participants since 2015 across roughly 5,000 sites. LS Power sold CPower to NRG Energy as part of a ~$12B portfolio deal announced in May 2025 and completed on 30 January 2026, and it now anchors NRG's C&I demand-side business from 1001 Fleet Street in Baltimore.
