Asset-level physical climate risk analytics that translate flood, heat, wind and wildfire projections into financial exposure for energy companies and lenders.
Jupiter's ClimateScore Global platform produces multi-peril, asset-level projections across scenarios and long-term horizons, then converts them into credit, loss and cashflow metrics rather than leaving them as hazard maps. The company was founded by climate scientists — Rich Sorkin, Eric Wun and Josh Hacker — and says it works with about 40% of the largest US energy and power producers, naming Hawaiian Electric, Equinor, EnBW and Eni among customers, alongside three of the five largest US banks. It has raised close to $100M from CDPQ, Liberty Mutual, MPower Partners, MS&AD, Nephila, Clearvision Ventures, Data Collective, Energize Ventures, Ignition Partners and SystemIQ.
