Certrec runs the NERC registration, evidence collection, audit preparation and self-reporting workload for generators, transmission owners and load-serving entities that would otherwise staff it internally, delivered through its RegSource and CERTS platforms plus consultants. On the nuclear side it supports NRC licensing documentation, commitment tracking and regulatory information management. The company says more than 80 entities across the US, Canada and Mexico use its NERC compliance services and that every US nuclear reactor facility uses at least one Certrec product. Mirion Technologies (NYSE: MIR) acquired Certrec for roughly $81 million in 2025 and folded it into its Nuclear & Power group.
