Listed German electrolysis specialist supplying gigawatt-scale alkaline water electrolysis plants alongside a long-standing chlor-alkali business.

thyssenkrupp nucera engineers and delivers large-scale electrolysis plants, combining six decades of chlor-alkali technology with green hydrogen. Its scalum platform packages 20 MW alkaline modules for gigawatt-scale projects, and its flagship reference is the multi-gigawatt NEOM green hydrogen project in Saudi Arabia. The company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in July 2023 and remains majority owned by thyssenkrupp. It returned to profit in FY2024/25 despite falling sales, and reported more than EUR 300 million of order intake in one quarter of 2026 — its highest quarterly intake since the IPO — even as green hydrogen segment revenue fell sharply year on year.
