Oakland-based Forum Mobility targets drayage, the shortest-haul and most electrifiable heavy-duty duty cycle, pairing depot charging subscriptions with truck leases so owner-operators avoid the upfront capital. Its flagship FM Harbor depot at 260 Pico Avenue in Long Beach has 44 ports at up to 360 kW, with further sites in development at Oakland (FM Coliseum, FM Adeline), Livermore (FM Greenville, 84 ports), Ontario (9 MW), Compton (FM Santa Fe, 14 pull-through megawatt-charging lanes) and North Las Vegas. It raised a $15M Series A alongside a $400M joint venture led by a fund sponsored by CBRE Investment Management, with Homecoming Capital committing $100M to the JV and Obvious Ventures, Edison International, Overture, Elemental Excelerator and Amazon's Climate Pledge Fund also investing.
